University Scouts is aimed at catering to ambitious young adults who aspire to continue their athletic and academic careers at the college level. As a student athlete, you may have an interest in learning how to display your talents and how to use those talents to increase the probability of obtaining a scholarship. Does this sound like you? Promoting oneself to various colleges and universities is a time consuming and challenging task. University Scouts is designed to simplify the college search process, particularly in the field of athletics. We help student athletes understand the academic requirements needed for college. Simultaneously, University Scouts will also increase and help maximize student athletes’ exposure to a diverse network of coaches throughout the country.

Student athletes are recommended to upload their most recent high school transcript to reflect their most recent academic information. Student athletes will be able to input the following information onto their profiles: involvement in clubs, volunteer work, after-school activities, awards/honors, SAT and/or ACT scores and athletic statistics charting one’s athletic progress. Using the given information, University Scouts will direct each student to the colleges in which their specific criteria is met. Our compact system of exchanging information will allow coaches to monitor student athletes’ performance, as well as allow students to view which coaches have been tracking their profile. Although there are communication restrictions due to NCAA rules and regulations the University Scouts program will allow coaches to review individual student athletes’ information.

University Scouts’ goal is to maximize the exposure of high school student athletes, which will in turn increase the probability of receiving an athletic and or academic scholarship. University Scouts matches the student athletes’ academic and athletic skill level to the high school student athletes list of preferred colleges. University Scouts will provide a professional opinion as to whether or not the student athletes’ athletic and academic skill level matches the criteria of the colleges chosen.

As a member of our program, each student will have the opportunity to create a customized profile supplying their contact information, academic details and athletic statistics. In addition, a student athlete may enter recommendations made by teachers and coaches, community service completed, after school activities and newspaper articles. Profiles will also feature: music, videos, multimedia, and instant messaging. Each student athletes profile once created and verified by our research department, will be transmitted to our database where it will be available to be viewed by college coaches from the NCAA Division I, II, II, Junior College and NAIA. During the sports seasons each student will be responsible for updating their athletic statistical data. Once the information is verified it will be posted on the student athletes’ profile. This process will allow us to provide up-to-date information to college coaches viewing their profile. Traveling can be costly and inconvenient for many. College coaches will have the luxury of searching our database to view student athlete profiles at their convenience. University Scouts allows college coaches the flexibility to view student athlete profiles located anywhere in the world by one click of a mouse.
